Lent Course Week 4 - Mark 15:21-47 Surprised by Glory

The fourth in the 2016 CiA Lent series with Dave Perry - "When Suffering is Glory: Mark 14-16"

This week, Dave talks about the crucifixion itself and its meaning as Mark draws it out in 15:21-47.  
From the brutality of the scene at Golgotha, Mark pans to the temple where the cutain is torn in two, then back to the scene at the cross where a surprise witness - the Roman centurion - falls to his knees and declares that this is the Son of God.  Mark's carefully choreographed storytelling is designed to highlight for us why this barabaric scene is really GOOD NEWS...
