Sunday Meetings

On Sundays our meetings usually have a time of praise and worship following by some teaching from the Bible. At the end of the meetings we usually have tea and coffee together.

During May - August we emphasise the fact that we are sent to make disciples of Jesus.

During September - December we emphasise our commission by Jesus to bring people into a living friendship with Him, to experience His forgiveness in their lives and to put Him first in their lives.

August

August 24th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Az and Abby Hobbs are back from Badajoz and will be speaking at the meeting today.

August 31st

There will be no meeting at the Salvation Army Hall today. Instead we will be meeting in Family Groups. If you are not part of a Family Group and would like to join in today please contact Steve Beegoo for further details.

September

September 7th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Clive Morris will be speaking about the implications for us of Jesus' Baptism.

September 14th

There is no meeting at the Salvation Army Hall today. Instead we are joining with the other Oxfordshire Community Churches for a Celebration Meeting at The King's Centre in Oxford at 10.30am.

September 21st

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Steve Beegoo will be speaking about the implications for us of The Temptation of Jesus.

September 28th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Barrie and Mary Wood will be speaking about the implications for us of The Calling of the Disciples of Jesus.

October

October 5th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Steve Beegoo will be speaking about God's Provision at our Harvest Family Service.

October 12th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Steve Beegoo will be speaking about The Sending out of the 12 and the 72 Disciples. We will also be spending time breaking bread together.

October 19th

There will be no meeting at the Salvation Army Hall today. Instead we will be meeting in Family Groups. If you are not part of a Family Group and would like to join in today please contact Steve Beegoo for further details.

October 26th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Steve Beegoo will be speaking on the theme "Jesus will build His Church".

November

November 2nd

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Clive Morris will be speaking about the implications for us of Jesus' Transfiguration.

November 9th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Rob McCafferty will be speaking on the theme "The Cost of Following Jesus" at our Remembrance Sunday meeting.

November 16th

There is no meeting at the Salvation Army Hall today. Instead we are joining with the other Oxfordshire Community Churches for a Celebration Meeting at The King's Centre in Oxford at 10.30am.

November 23rd

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Geoff Norridge will be speaking on the theme "Mary or Martha?".

November 30th

There is no meeting at the Salvation Army Hall today. Instead we will be holding a baptsim service at The King's Centre in Oxford at 3.30pm.

December

December 7th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Clive Morris will be speaking on the theme "Jesus at a Pharisee's House".

December 14th

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). Julia Morgan, a former headteacher of The King's School, Witney,  will be speaking on the theme "Mary's Song".

December 21st

4.00pm (Salvation Army Hall). This will be our Christmas Carol Service no doubt to be followed by mince pies!

December 25th

We will meet together in the morning. Details to be confirmed nearer the time.
