In the Old Testament, the priests went into the temple, honoured God, sacrificed to him and helped people to follow God. The great, amazing transition, as we touched on on Sunday, is that now, thanks to Jesus, each follower of Jesus is a priest. Even better, no longer do we have to go into a temple - we are individually and as a gathered body the temple where God dwells. more

Impact and strategy

Last week seemed to be a week about impact! I toook some time to list to a number of speakers to seek to gather as much as possible what God was wanting to whisper to me. It was my way of responding to what Eddy said to us on the 18th, altough, to be honest, I had planned it for some time. It was a clear time of encounter for me, and I thank God for the time. more

However, despite being a full day, I know that the vibrancy of the praise at the celebration was a real blessing to me, and Luc's perspective on where wisdom is truly fouund struck me afresh. more

Family meeting

Many thanks to all who came to the family meeting. I appreciated the chance to share how we believe we should be moving forwards in the coming months. It seems to me that this a very exciting time as we seek to put in place the team that will help us to move forwards more effectively in our call to be a church the sees the region changed for the better. more

New site live!

Well, the new site is now live, and that means my blog needs to move here, should help everything stay in one place! Hopefully this new site will make it easier for people to access information and could even become part of the focus for the church. more

New website

Well, the draft version of the WCC website is now up on the beta site. I've spent some time trying to get it to look right, now we just have to do the content! more
