For our July celebration service we will be welcoming Frank and Betina Anker-Wiik who are part of the Nordic team for Salt & Light Ministries.
Frank and Betina live in Copenhagen, Denmark and the leaders of ’The House’, a church plant in the centre of Copenhagen. They started out with 12 people living together in a mansion 10 minutes from the very centre of Copenhagen in 2007 and the vision is to raise leaders by being a spiritual family and seeing Copenhagen, Denmark and the nations transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are looking forward to their time with us as they share about God’s presence and breaking though in worship.
There will also be a family picnic after the Celebration at the meadow on Ferry Hinksey Road just a few minutes walk from The Kings Centre. Please bring along your own picnic food and also an umbrella in case it rains! (if it does we will have the picnic in The King's Centre instead). There will be some organised activites for children.
Shuttle buses to Seacourt Park & Ride will be running every ten minutes between 1-2pm (from The King's Centre) and 3-4pm (from the meadow if it doesn't rain).
Travel & Parking Information
Please note that parking at The King's Centre is limited and the surrounding estate is not particularly suitable for 'dropping-off'. When travelling to the centre, please first consider other forms of transport such as the public buses, Park and Ride Service and train services. Each provides transport to within 10 minutes walk of the centre.
