Vision

We started the church in Didcot with the aim to make a positive difference in our local community. We use the words "Active, Building, Caring, Devoted, Equipping" to describe who we want to be.

  • Active – Not just to talk about doing things, but to actually do them. We want to be at work in the life of the local community as well as being good neighbours. We are also involved in other nations around the world

  • Building – We don't want quick fixes or to do things for show. We want to see real, lasting change in peoples lives. We want our projects, teaching and relationships to last. We encourage each member of the church to grow in Christian maturity, love for God and love for each other.

  • Caring - Jesus is our role model. He always seemed to have time for people and to take an interest in their lives. Practical help is time-consuming and costly but we want to be a community that cares for each other. We hope the church provides a place of security, acceptance and practical care for anyone who needs it.
  • Devoted - to God in worship and prayer, both individually and corporately as a church.
  • Equipping - Developing the gifts that God has given us to serve each other

We look forward to the day when we see a number of different projects established in the community including youth work, a pregnancy crisis centre, schools liaison, a preschool, support groups for people with disabilities, and an internationals support group
