Trevor's Story

Before I became a Christian, I did not know why I was here.  There was an empty void inside.  I guess you could say I was lost.  My wife Steph had begun to attend church and one day I offered to come and pick her up.  As I walked in the door I was overwhelmed by an incredible warm sensation as soon as I walked in the door.   I felt like I'd been set ablaze.  It was incredible.  When we got home I told my wife 'I want to become a Christian' .

She was so shocked she asked 'Are you sure!'.  

Soon afterwards I decided to get baptised.  When I came out of the water I felt this sense of warmth again.

Becoming a Christian has made a huge difference to my life.  I feel part of a family -  a family made up of people who care for each other, and help and support one another.  I've also noticed big changes in me.  Before if someone said something to upset me I would have a few choice words back.  Now I feel I don't have to react.  Overall I'm much calmer now.  I'm at peace with myself.'
