we are led ...

On Sunday, as we looked at the book of 2 Corinthians, we discovered that chapter 2 verse 14 has alternative translations. I promised I would do a bit more work on the questions and make it available. I've spent a bit of time looking at the question and both ways of translating the passage can be justified. I've put some notes discussing this question in a document, which can be downloaded by clicking on the link to the right, or if that's not visible click here.

Which ever translation you end up concluding is correct, it is clear that Jesus won a majestic victory through his life and death, and that we follow him. Whether we do so as his captives or his soldiers, standing through challenges and seeing his victory despite them, isn't, perhaps, the most important thing.

Either way, I pray that you will discover more of the joy of the victory Christ, no matter that situation you live in today!
