DR JAN WHITE, UGANDA  

Dr Jan White

Dr. Jan has been working as a medical missionary in East Africa for over 23 years. She works under the auspices of Deliverance Church Medical Services (a ministry of Deliverance Churches of Uganda).

JOY Hospice and Buwasunguyi Clinic are in eastern Uganda. JOY Hospice is in the town of Mbale and Buwasunguyi Clinic is about 45 minutes by road outside of Mbale.

They have been established by Dr Janet White since 1998 and are run by her with a staff of about 30 (both full-time and part-time).

MAC AND LUCY, GUINEA

 

Mac and Lucy went to Zimbabwe in June 2011 and were based in Bulawayo where they used their skills in construction, fundraising and youth work, to serve with some local charities.
After a year of language study in France, Mac and Lucy relocated to Guinea where they are working within a team exploring opportunities to do; community development work, pre-school work, teaching and training, and outreach to university students. They have two young children: Issac and Noah.

KEN AND MAZ BROWN, KENYA

Ken and Maz

Ken and Maz, with their three children Audrey, Elijah, and Edith, moved out to Nairobi, Kenya, with the Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Ken is responsible for the finances of MAF in Kenya ensuring that scarce resources can be put to good use so that MAF can reach as many isolated people as possible. Maz is looking for opportunities to put her teaching and communications skills to good use to help bring physical and spiritual care to those who need it most.
