Mary Dunlop - Christian Education in Poland

Mary Dunlop

Several years ago, Mary responded to a request from Jacek Weigl, to help establish a Christian school in Warsaw.  Jacek is a visionary leader of several charismatic fellowships still within the Catholic church.  he and his wife Ania were searching for the right school for their children when God called them to set up their own Christian school.

Samuel Christian Primary School will be embarking upon its third year in September 2006.  The school will have grown to around eighty children, ranging from three to eleven.  Several new teachers will be added to the staff team as well.  Accommodation for the school has now been found for the 13-16 year olds on the first floor of a gymnasium.  Although not ideal, hopefully this will prove to be an amicable partnership.

In September 2006, King David Christian Primary School was set up on Poznan to enlarge the pre-school already established within Poznan.  Mary returned to Poland in August 2006 and returned to Poznan to help set up the new school.

Mary continues to ask for your prayers.  To help support Mary, regular giving is channelled through North Witney Community Church, although if you wish to give a one-off gift specially towards Samuel School in Warsaw, or king David School in Poznan, then please contact Gary Pizzey for Marys contact details.
