About a year ago, Angus Reid pointed me here. I read it and was immediately persuaded that I should start to blog, but (as is too often the case), it’s taken a while to move from my ‘to do’ list to actually being done!
Soon after making the decision to blog, we began the process of overhauling the church website, and I persuaded myself I shouldn’t start a blog until that was done. Well, now the new website is properly established, and I find that my excuses have run thin.
So, here commences a stream of my consciousness. I guess some of my thoughts may surprise you. I hope they might occasionally intrigue or delight you. Occasionally, I will probably offend someone, as the price that is commonly paid for the kind of honesty that I aspire to.
My main motive in doing this is not a personal need to tell people what I think, but a desire to connect with the people that I care about, most especially the members of Oxford Community Church.
