Courses
The church offers a number of training courses to cover some key areas of discipleship and pastoral care. Some of these courses run annually, others as the need arises. They are usually held at the The King’s Centre and include:
Parenting Course - A course of seven sessions, run in two parts, for parents of children at all stages of life; to encourage and equip them in the challenging task of bringing up children.
Into Action & Esther Challenge - 6 week courses that help to improve the quality and breadth of the spiritual disciplines in our lives. This normally runs early in the New Year (Jan-Feb).
Marriage Preparation Course - a course of 6 sessions for those about to be married, usually held in a home.
Also, every term we offer a 3-part course, “Partnering for Purpose” for those looking to make Oxford Community Church their spiritual home.
The network of churches that OCC is a part of also provides a number of courses such as “Celebrate Recovery”. Details can be found at www.occ.org.uk/courses.
