The Oxford Community Church is made up of a number of small groups which are seeking to out-work our BIG vision. There are special groups for youth and students, and the rest of the church meets in 'community groups'. All our church members are strongly encouraged to play an active role in one of these groups, growing together in their relationship with God and together as a family, and reaching out together with God's love and the gospel to unbelievers.

To quote a recently preached message: “Gathering in homes has been a foundational building block of the church – that’s why we do it. Not because breaking people into house groups or cells is convenient. But because it is a biblical building block. So that we can have a place where we can know and be known. Where we can provoke others to step out and where we can be provoked… Where we can be a little microcosm of all that we are trying to do together… This is a battle, because this is so foundational to church life. The devil will contest this!”

You can join in!

Anyone is welcome to be part of a community group - each one is open and welcoming. Each group will generally meet weekly, often (though not always) on Wednesday or Thursday evening.
