If you would like to tithe or give regularly to the church, you can do so in a number of ways:

• Put a cheque or cash in to the offering bucket on a Sunday morning (NB please label the cash with your name if you wish us to Gift Aid it)
• Set up a standing order to our account
• Transfer the money via Internet banking from your account

Standing Orders and Bank Transfers If you would like to set up a Standing Order to our account, please pick up a form from the Welcome Desk (see image, right), or get one from the church office. This should be filled out and put in to the offering bucket on a Sunday morning or returned to the church office. Alternatively you can set up a direct bank transfer with your bank using Internet banking. Please email the church office for our bank details (or take them from the standing order form) and let us know how much you will be transferring and what it is for (i.e. general giving or for a specific purpose - see below).

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer you can Gift Aid your giving to the church. This does not cost you anything, and enables OCC to claim the tax back on your gift (this currently increases the value of your gift by over 25%). Please pick up a Gift Aid form from the Welcome Desk or the church office. This needs to be signed and dated and returned to the church office.

If you don't want to Gift Aid every gift you give, you will need to specify this on your Gift Aid form, or indicate the fact on your giving envelope. If you are unsure how to do this, please speak to our finance administrator by contacting the church office.

Giving to specific ministries

You can give to specific ministries within OCC in the same way that you would give generally to the church. These might be missionaries who we support, or particular projects. Please pick up a standing order form, or email the church office for our bank details. Gifts can also be put in the offering bucket on a Sunday morning - please remember to mark on them who or what the gift is for. These gifts can usually be Gift Aided, so make sure you've signed a Gift Aid form (if you pay sufficient tax)!
