One of the best ways to feel part of our church family is to get involved with family life! This could mean joining one of our mid-week small groups, which is a great way of building friendships and getting support in life, helping out with various activities on Sunday mornings, or lending a hand for a couple of hours during the week. Below are some of the ways you could get involved. To find out more about any of these areas, or if you want to help out generally with church life, contact Grace in the church office:  

Stewarding

We have four teams of stewards who make sure that our Sunday morning meetings run smoothly. Stewarding is a great way to help out at church and meet new people. It is also a huge blessing to others! If you would like to join a stewarding team, please contact the church office.

Children's work

We run activities for kids during our Sunday meetings. For more information and how to get involved, click here.

Worship

If you love singing or playing an instrument, and would like to consider joining the worship band, please contact John. Alternatively, if you are more of a technical person and would like to think about being on our PA team, speak to Andy Clark.

Catering

Our catering team cook and serve lunches for newcomers to the church once every couple of months. If you are interested in helping out, please contact the church office.

Office administration

For those of you who have time during the week, and have administrative gifts you would like to exercise, there is always work in the church office to be done! Please contact Grace for more information.

Social action

From the start, Christian churches have been keen to serve the poor (Acts 2:32-35, Gal 2:10), and we feel the same way! We have a team that goes onto the streets each Monday night to offer food, friendship and prayer to the homeless. We provide meals for homeless people here at The King's Centre once a month at our City Lunches. Volunteers are always welcome and should contact Jane Harper.
