Beyond...

Historically, the church has always had a strong commitment towards working in other nations beyond the UK, principally through church members working overseas. This has seen people working in countries as far spread as Spain to Japan, France to South Africa.

Currently we have people working in Japan, China, Thailand, and people back in the UK from Uganda, Turkey, West Africa and Central Asia either for a rest or for further training.

The nature of the work varies form country to country and is often in partnership with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) or other agencies. It includes education, health care, irrigation & water supply, and church planting.

We encourage everyone in the church to consider going to work overseas, anything from on short term visit to a number of years. For those who are considering working overseas long term, a group meets regularly to help with training and discipleship.
