Hello and welcome to the Freshers section of the website! Oxford Community Church is a 'family on mission together' and is a family that want to make room for you. We've collected together some information about things we've produced or are organising which are especially for freshers this coming autumn.

Taster Fusion Groups...
One of the things we do together as students at OCC is Fusion groups. Fusion groups are groups of friends who meet together regularly who seek to develop a real community from which the focus can turn outwards to those around us. For the first four weeks of term we run taster groups as a way of finding out about what Fusion groups are like and though there's no commitment at that point, our aim is that as we meet together we'll get to know each other, grow together in God and to be beginning to reach out to others around us. Pre-Term Weekend...   This event has now passed.

After a four-month summer the Pre-Term Event is a time for students to gather back together to get fresh vision for where God wants to take us this year. It's been great that over the last few years we've had a number of freshers join us and we'd love for you to come too! It is a great opportunity for you make friends in a relaxed atmosphere (well, in a much less hectic environment than freshers' week!) and to get a sense of what God's been saying to us as a group of students and as part of the wider church family.
