Job Opportunity:

OCC have a vacancy for an administrator to work at The King's School, Witney.

This position provides support to the Headteacher and staff. Main duties include running of Senior office, financial administration for both school sites, database management and maintenance, ensuring school meets legal requirements in terms of its operation, and generally facilitating the smooth running of the school. Some flexibility is required to enable support for Parents evenings, Prize Giving etc.

Essential job requirements: Excellent inter-personal skills for dealings with staff, parents, pupils and external contacts, good computer skills, confidentiality. Working knowledge of Sage accounting software an advantage, although in-house training can be arranged. A job share would be considered for the right applicants.

Hours: 40 per week, 5 weeks paid holiday entitlement plus statutory holidays.

English Teachers Wanted!

A Christian school in school in Kerala, South India is looking for volunteers to teach English for any period from 2 weeks to 3 months. The school is linked with the Bible College where Steve, Mike and Geoff often go to teach.

Working in a multi-cultural Christian school, being part of the theological seminary, and having the opportunity for sight seeing in Kerala, one of the prettiest parts of India, makes this an attractive opportunity for young graduates or even experienced teachers who are looking to take a break.

They can provide free housing and food, but candidates would be expected to fund their travel and other expenses.
