Who we are?
community church is a bunch of local people, living in Thame and the surrounding area.
We're part of the Oxfordshire Community Churches family of churches, and on a wider front part of the Salt & Light international family of churches and members of Evangelical Alliance UK.
What is important to us?
Church is supposed to be a family of people, on mission together. A community, not just a load of meetings. And a community that is active in doing God’s work. Something to be part of and give to; not just to 'be fed by'.
- Caring community! Church is more than a Sunday meeting – it’s a way of life, in open and honest relationship with other Christians!
- Encountering God! Looking for ‘Jesus at the centre’ of our lives in prayer, worship and lifestyle – and as we gather as church.
- Everyone growing! Seeing real change in our lives, as we apply the Bible in a meaningful way, helped by other Christians.
- Everyone involved! Opportunity for everyone to be an active part of the church, and helping everyone demonstrate and communicate, in everyday life, God’s love for people.
