Why we're planting another church

Church is not primarily a building, or even a Sunday meeting, but a lively community of people who love God and want to make a difference in the world.

In every town, village and community God wants people in to be influenced by Christian people who will demonstrate and tell about God’s love.

And so when we talk about ‘starting a church’ that’s what we mean. A community of Christians, reaching out to people around them, in their own culture, style and  language. Just as different families have different habits and lifestyles, so churches are not all the same!

We talk about ‘planting’ a church because it’s a bit like sowing a seed. To start with nothing very much seems to be happening, then a small seedling and eventually a full-grown plant. It takes time. Patience.
