A class of writers!

The children in Y6 recently submitted some of their work to the Young Writers' Mini Sagas competition. They each had to compose a 'mini saga' based upon a theme that inspired them, with the added challenge of using 50 words or less. According to the competition details, winning stories would be those that showed "imagination, perception, expression and creative use of language."

The organisers of the competition received over 20,000 stories from all over the UK and overseas and ALL the children in Y6 had their stories chosen to appear in 'Tiny Treasures: The British Isles' which is being published on 31st March.

As well as each child receiving a bookmark, a certificate and a letter of congratulations, the editorial panel will now be going on to select school winners and The King's School will be one of the schools being considered.

Well done all of Y6 and thank you to Mrs Rapson for encouraging them all to have a go!
