Great work Y6!

The Year 6 girls recently visited Kamrans Ward at the Children’s Centre, part of the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. They delivered thirty-nine bags which they had made in sewing lessons at school and which will be used to protect drains that are inserted during surgical procedures.more

Serving in the community

As a school in the heart of Witney, we hope to be a positive presence in the town so we held the first ever 'Serving in the Community' days this term. Y7-10 took to the streets of Witney to offer their services in a  variety of ways.more

Y8 go hunting for animals and adventure!

On a glorious sunny day, Y8 had the pleasure of visiting the Cotswold Wildlife Park to take some photos and sketches for their wildlife art project. According to Miss Le, they all had a fantastic time; the Y8s proved to be enthusiatic photographers and took dozens of pictures which have since been used as visual research to create some detailed clay models of the animals.more

Y7 have fun!

Y7 recently enjoyed two trips together. The first of these was a trip to Warick Castle. Climbing the walls and tower proved a challenge for those who did not have a head for heights but the views of the surrounding area made the climb worthwhile. It also helped give them an idea of the sheer size of the castle, its deep defensive moats and numerous towers.more

A Visit to The Cotswold Wildlife Park

This term in Y1 and Y2 our work has been based around the topic 'Animals in God's World.' As part of this topic, they went on a school trip to 'The Cotswold Wildlife Park' to see some of the animals they had been learning about. They saw lots of different animals and thought about our imaginative God creating all these creatures! Mrs Mckenzie said they had all had a fanmore

Important Date Change and Good News!

We are excited at the prospect of moving into the new into new premises at the New Yatt Road site next term. The builders are confident of having both buildings ready by the beginning of September! However, to give them and us a little more time, we have decided to delay the start of term until MONDAY 6th SEPTEMBER.more

Expressive Arts 2010

At the end of last term, our senior pupils took time off normal lessons as part of their annual expressive arts week. This year, the subject was 'resurection hope' and it culminated in two evenings of exciting and at times, very moving, performences. All the students were involved, whether it was in computer graphics, P.A.more
