Our under 13 girls (years 7-8) played their first hockey match of the season against Kingham Hill School this month. The King’s School took the lead in the first half - Makhaila scoring the goal. We had most of the play early on, leaving our excellent goalie, Eleanor with very little to do. However, the opposition battled hard in the second half, but were still unable to make it through our defence. This was an excellent start to the season, brilliantly led by Makhaila , who captained the side to victory 1:0.
A mixed team of girls and boys from Years 9-11 played a hard fought match against Leckford Place. High levels of skill, determination and team work took us to a 2:1 victory. Congratulations to Rowan who scored both our goals.
