On Saturday 28th November, the school held it's 4th Christmas fayre. Despite bad weather in the days leading up to the fayre, the sun shone and visitors poured in. As well as having many external stall holders, this year the school had many stalls of it's own including second hand books, cakes and plants, all of which went down very well. The hotdogs and muffins flew out of the cafe, the tombola sold out, children queued for face painting and to have their nails done and the 'secret present room' was it's usual 'hit'. We were also blessed with a lot of very generous sponsorship this year which enabled us to have a prize draw on the day which seemed to be appreciated by all.
Since the fayre finished, we have had a lot of very positive feedback. Comments include;
"I had a really great day. Thank you for such a well organised event!"
"From the moment I drove in and was helped to park I could see it was going to be an enjoyable day. Then to be greeted by friendly faces AND have such a good spot in the hall! We very much hope we will be able to attend any future events you run."
"Everyone was so friendly and made us feel that we were really wanted; A lot of effort had clearly been put into making the school look nice and it was so well attended."
So far we have raised over £2450 and money is still coming in! Thank you to everyone, both staff, parents, pupils and friends of the school who put in so much effort to make it a wonderful day.
