Seven pupils along with Mr Ellwood and Mel Grove enjoyed a two and a half week action packed trip to Zambia. The theme became 'out of our comfort zone' with a large number of new experiences for the pupils.
These ranged from teaching classes of 50 - 70 eight to ten year olds to eating local Zambian dishes, washing up in cold streams, camping under the stars and cooking on open fires, praying with needy folk in local villages, climbing a challenging mountain, coming to grips with the poverty endured by many rural Africans and much more!
The group worked well together, supporting each other and learning to adapt to a new environment. Well done Y11s!
