Nine Year Eleven students, accompanied by Mr Blakey and Louise Allen, spent the last two weeks of the summer term in Kerala, South India. They stayed at the Indian Pentecostal Churches Seminary and spent most of their time teaching at the Sophia International Christian School nearby, where they were very warmly welcomed. The team responded excellently, planning and delivering a range of lessons to different age groups over a number of days. They also had time for various trips, including visiting a tea plantation in the Western Ghat hills, and boat trips on the Kerala backwaters, as well as eating lots of interesting food! All in all, it was a very successful trip, which we may look to repeat in the future.
