Steve is married to Tammi and has been the pastor of Bicester Community Church since 2004. He is also a primary school teacher and works part time at Bletchingdon C of E Primary. His two daughters are both at The King's School and Steve also taught at the school in Y3/4 from 2003 - 2006. Steve heads up The King's Pre-school in Bicester and has been Chairman of Governors for The King's School since 2008.
Alistair Barnett is a senior teacher at d'Overbroeck's College, Oxford, specialising in 6th form teaching. He is also an elder in North Witney Community Church. His three sons have all been educated at The King's School and his wife Hazel is a part time maths and science teacher in the senior school.
Mike Beaumont is part of the Oxfordshire Community Churches' Apostolic Ministry Team, working as a preacher, lecturer, author and broadcastor. He has been a school teacher in both state and christian schools and his three daughters were all pupils at The King's School, reflecting his passionate commitment to Christain education.
Robin Howard is passionate about learning and pupils realising their potential to the full. He is a trained secondary school teacher who has taught in both state and christian schools in the UK and abroad, teaching English, Drama, Theatre Studies and Media. Together with his wife Lisa, he leads the King's Church in Didcot. He has three sons, Henry, Albert and Barnabas.
Kathy Neal has two sons at The King's School. She works part-time as the school's Bursar and also teaches French and German. Kathy is a member of Cote Baptist Church and is also a Director (Trustee) of Oxfordshire Community Churches.
Chris Weatherall is the non-OCC representative for The King's School. He lives with his wife Mel and they have three sons. He says "From the day we walked in The King's School we felt the spirit of the Lord and recognised that this is something very special. It is my strongest desire to ensure that many more families can join The King's School and receive the gifts that our Father has for all our children. It is an exciting time for us all now and we are blessed with the opportunity to be part of the future of the school."
John Ellwood is the Principal of the school and is also head of Seniors. He has been in education for over 30 years and has taught at The King's School since 1986. His four children have all been pupils at the school and he passionately believes in the value of a good Christian school in helping to lay sound foundations in the lives of young people. He also served as Community Head of West Witney Community Church for 9 years and appreciates the importance of the school maintaining good links with local churches.
Joe McCobb and his wife Tracy -anne founded and run the European subsidiary of an American publishing company. They have three children who are all at The King's School. Joe says "Putting our children through the school was not a decision we took lightly or because others did.Like all parents, it is a journey of partnership and sacrifice but allows us to work with the school to sow Kingdom principles into our children in a relaxed and fun environment. I am greatly privileged to work, as a governor, alongside such a wealth of experience, faith and talent."
