The King's School is an independent Christian school. This means that we receive no financial help whatsoever from the state and are entirely dependant on parents and others for our income. It is parents who have first responsibility for paying for the education of their children. For most of us, this will involve an element of real sacrifice and so should be an issue we settle honestly and squarely.
School fees are reviewed annually to reflect the real cost of educating each child, based on the budget for the coming year. To help parents who have more than one child at the school, a sliding scale of fees is in operation. Fees must be paid by monthly and for tithing members of the Oxfordshire Community Churches a reduction in fees payment is offered and an Assisted Places scheme is available.
Finally, we want to emphasize that The King's School is a faith venture. Over the years since the school was opened in 1984 we have faced many challenges but have consistently seen God's faithfulness in providing for our needs.
