Pupil Welfare
The school is concerned to take seriously its responsibilities for the care of the individual. Every pupil has a form tutor who is responsible for their pastoral care. Parents are encouraged to get to know their child’s tutor, so that any communication can take place in a relational context. The School operates a Child Protection Policy in line with that operated by the Oxfordshire Community Churches. All staff are screened with the Criminal Records Bureau before taking up appointment.

The School also has a policy for Fostering Healthy Relationships (Bullying) that sets out to promote a climate in which the pupils can mature in fostering healthy relationships with one another. We want all pupils to be able to be secure with one another, respecting and honouring one another, out of the knowledge that we are all equally valued by God. The school treats with due seriousness instances where pupils experience distress as a result of the treatment of others. If bullying occurs, procedures are followed to bring redemption to the situation.
