Building God’s Family
As part of the Body of Christ, we seek to do all we can to ensure that this local expression of the Body of Christ is fit and healthy. To that end, we lay emphasis on the following:
•Sound biblical-based teaching every Sunday morning
•Encouragement in the exercise of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12)
•The nurturing of open and honest relationships
•Regular midweek gatherings in housegroups
•The availability of one-on-one pastoral care
•Provision fore children on Sunday mornings
•Access to the wider ministries of Oxfordshire Community Churches

We believe a strong body of believers should be effective in offering mutual support to other members of God’s family as well as being able to reach out to friends and neighbours.

Reaching Our Community
In seeking to be obedient to the Great Commission to ‘GO and make disciples of all nations’, we are involved in the following activities:
•Alpha for anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith
•Quiz nights, themed music evenings among others
•An annual Family Fun Day for local families
•Individual church members are active in running Parenting classes, a Mums and Toddlers group, involvement in a local charity ‘Witney Families Together’, a local ‘Listeners Group’ among others.
•A monthly coffee morning

Our aim is to involve everyone in the church in building a strong and vibrant local church which successfully reaches those around us.
