Last year’s church weekend away was a significant time for many people. We enjoyed encountering God in worship, receiving teaching and ministry, and spending unhurried time together.
This year we want to make that accessible to even more people, so we’ll be holding our first Weekend at Home.
When and Where?
Fri 16 Oct - Sun 18 Oct, The King’s Centre, OX2 0ES
We will begin on Friday with an evening of worship and ministry, from 19.30-21.15. This will be a great chance to encounter God and pray for one another.
Then on the Saturday we’ll enjoy worship and teaching, interactive workshops, games, creative activities, good food, and space to hang out and get to know one another better. This day will run from 9.30-17.00 and we will also provide activities for children, helping them enjoy connecting with God and with one another.
Then on the Sunday we’ll gather for our Sunday service at 10.30 as usual.
We’re trusting that this will be a powerful time, where God will speak to us and align us for all he has in store for the year ahead. Whether you’ve been part of this church for years, or are brand new, we’d love to see you there.
Tickets for the Saturday are £20 for an adult, or £10 for children and youth, to contribute towards the costs of catering and children’s activities. No tickets are required for the Friday or Sunday. But we don’t want finance to be an issue, so there is also a pay as you can option.
