FAQs
-
We believe that everything we have is a gift from God, and that giving financially is an act of worship, and a way for us to reflect God’s generous heart for our city.
At Oxford Community Church we teach the biblical practice of tithing - giving the first 10% of our earnings to the Lord as an act of worship. We also seek to be generous over and above the tithe, giving to special offerings, to other charities and organisations, and to those who have need.
-
If you would rather give by cash or cheque on a Sunday, you can certainly do so. We have offering buckets on the stage during the service. Cheques can be made out to Oxford Community Church.
-
As a local church, we often encourage giving beyond ourselves, to other people and projects who are making a difference in our city, our nation, and overseas.
Here are a few other things you may wish to give you.
OCC Hardship Fund (Offering support to those who are in hardship or distress, aged or sick.)
Steve and Lorraine Thomas (Mobilising Salt & Light churches in Europe.)
