Gift Days 2026
Responding in faith and giving for growth.
Oxford Community Church is a generous community. Over 40 years, we have seen churches planted in the UK and beyond, dozens of nations reached, two schools established, several ministries started, and many people saved, healed, delivered, and baptised.
We’re a community funded by the generosity of our people. To all who give to the life and ministry of OCC – thank you!
Giving for Growth
God has been speaking to us about growth, so in faith we’ve begun to change our approach around budgeting and gift days. We want to be ready for all the Lord has in store for us.
We see our giving as falling into two categories: regular giving, and over and above giving. Or to use biblical language, tithes and offerings.
Tithes: We teach and encourage the biblical practice of tithing, giving the first 10% of our earnings to the Lord as an act of obedience and worship. We use this income to fund regular church activities. If you have questions about tithing you can find out more here.
Offerings: All we have is a gift from God, so we don’t want our generosity to stop at 10%. We encourage people to consider giving above and beyond, for instance through special offerings.
We take our main offering through our springtime Gift Days, which funds growth activities in four categories:
Global
Mission
Future
Leaders
Ministering to
the hurting
Local Church Expansion
Last year…
At last year’s Gift Days, you gave an amazing £59,000, which has enabled us to invest more in our youth and student ministries, improve our operations to prepare for growth, continue to support charitable initiatives in our city, see a church plant become established and healthy, and mentor missionaries and send people overseas.
As we’ve stepped out in faith, God has been faithful! Over the last year we have welcomed more people into membership than in previous years; we’ve expanded our 0-18s provision and seen more children and youth join us; and we’ve grown above 400 people for the first time in 20 years.
We’ve also seen more new givers in the past year and we are so grateful to God and to you, for your faithful generosity.
Gift Days 2026
15, 22, 29 March
This year, we will be taking special offerings over three weeks: 15, 22, and 29 March. We are trusting God to provide a further £60,000 to be deployed into these four areas of expansion and development.
We love that we are a generous church and are grateful that many of us give faithfully and regularly. We want to be a community that continues to grow in generosity. Come with us on the journey.
How to respond
We invite you to pray, to consider your part in generous giving to the extension of God’s Kingdom, in and through Oxford Community Church.
For some, this will mean giving your first financial gift
For others, this will mean starting to give regularly or tithing 10% of your income to the church.
For many, this will mean a one-off gift ‘over-and-above’ your regular tithe.
Join us in praying that God would continue to move among us, and lead us deeper into radical generosity.
How to give
We will be taking offerings in our Sunday services on 15, 22, and 29 March, if you would like to give in person, or make a pledge. But since many of us give online, you’re welcome to do so at any point over the coming weeks. The main ways to give are:
Bank Transfer
This is our preferred way of receiving offerings, since other methods result in the service provider taking a small percentage as processing fees. You can give via your online banking to:

Online via ChurchSuite
Should you wish to give by card via ChurchSuite, you can do so through the module below.
Please note, ChurchSuite takes a small percentage as processing fees, so bank transfer would be preferable. And if you are a UK taxpayer, ticking the Gift Aid option allows us to claim back 25% on top of your gift, at no cost to you.
Gift Aid
If you’re a UK taxpayer, registering for gift aid enables us to claim back 25% tax at no cost to you, making your generous giving go even further.
